Company Description My Covenant Place is an organization that provides support and services to victims in accordance with victim’s rights in Maryland. We strive to treat victims with dignity and respect, and we inform them of their rights and how to access the services they may need. Our services include crisis intervention and counseling, domestic violence programs, support groups, assistance with criminal injuries compensation, and access to other social services. We are dedicated to ensuring the safety and well-being of victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, homicide, child abuse/neglect, robbery, shooting, and other violent crimes. Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Freelance Translator. The Freelance Translator will be responsible for translating written documents from one language to another accurately and efficiently. They will need to have a strong understanding of both the source and target languages to ensure accurate translations. The Freelance Translator will also need to meet deadlines and manage multiple translation projects simultaneously. Qualifications Fluency in both the source and target languagesExcellent written and verbal communication skills in both languagesStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to meet deadlines and manage multiple translation projectsExperience in translating written documentsUnderstanding of cultural nuances and sensitivity when translatingStrong research and analytical skillsProficiency in translation software and toolsRelevant certification or degree in translation or a related field
