The firm has been serving small businesses and individuals for over 17 years providing accounting, Quickbooks, tax, and consulting services. The founder, Don Thomas, is a certified public accountant with over 29 years of experience in accounting and corporate finance. Role Description This is a part-time on-site freelance editor role located in Maitland, FL. The Freelance Editor will be responsible for reviewing and editing various types of accounting and business-related documents, including financial statements, tax returns, and consulting reports. The editor will also be responsible for ensuring that all documents adhere to quality standards set by the firm. Qualifications Strong knowledge of accounting and business terminologyDemonstrated experience in reviewing and editing accounting and business-related documentsAbility to provide constructive feedback to improve document clarity and coherenceExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAttention to detail and ability to adhere to firm quality standardsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Journalism, or related fieldExperience with Quickbooks and tax preparation software is a plus
