We are looking for a skilled Khmer/Thai/Hebrew/Burmese linguist to join our team as a freelance language expert. As a freelance linguist, you will be responsible for translating, transcribing, and proofreading content from English to Khmer/Thai/Hebrew/Burmese and vice versa.
Responsibilities:
– Translate written content accurately from English to Khmer/Thai/Hebrew/Burmese
– Transcribe audio recordings in English to Khmer/Thai/Hebrew/Burmese
– Proofread and edit translated content to ensure accuracy and quality
– Collaborate with project managers and other linguists to ensure timely delivery of projects
– Research and stay current on language trends and updates
Requirements:
– Native or near-native proficiency in English to Khmer/Thai/Hebrew/Burmese
– Proven experience as a translator, transcriber, Subtitling or linguist
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Strong communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Proficiency in translation software and tools is a plus
