**Job Description:**
We are seeking an open minded, adaptable person that is excited to develop their skills and learn more about the language service industry to join our team as a Junior Linguist. As such, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality translations to our clients.
**Responsibilities:**
1. Translate and proofread texts from English to German for various accounts, covering clients in diverse industries ranging from E-commerce home furnishing websites over smartphone instruction manuals and marketing materials to videography software, and many more.
2. Accepting and rejecting tasks as well as managing communication with clients regarding linguistic matters.
3. Collaborate with senior linguists and project managers to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
4. Receive daily reviews and instructions from our senior linguists.
**Qualifications:**
1. Bachelor’s degree
2. Native proficiency in German and Expert proficiency in English
3. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
5. Familiarity with translation tools and software is a plus.
**Requirements:**
1. Proven experience in English to German translation.
2. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
3. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload efficiently.
4. Cultural understanding as well as sensitivity to and excitement for nuances in language.
5. Ability to critically reflect on your own work and a receptive attitude towards criticism.
