60-minute business meeting source English to be translated. Non-technical.

We have a potential project involving a 60-minute video in source English. The video is a business meeting that was held over Microsoft Teams. We need it translated into a variety of languages. Please respond if you are able to handle one of the language pairs.

Here is the workflow for normal projects: We will create a source English .srt subtitle file on our end. An .srt file is a very basic subtitle file type that can be opened and edited in Notepad, TextEdit, or any subtitling software if you have it. For this workflow, we’d only need you to replace the English with your translations in the target language. We would NOT need you to change any of the timecodes in the file or add any new subtitles.

As far as formatting guidelines go, we are normally limited to 2 lines of translated text maximum per subtitle.

We will also provide you with the source videos for the project for reference.

We only need the translated .srt file as a deliverable.

Because of the way in which our sales department needs to quote projects for clients, we’ll need you to provide your rate in a format of US dollars per video minute. We pay via Paypal, corporate check, or bank transfer net 30 days after receiving your invoice after the project is completed. We do not cover any payment fees incurred by banks. Just so you are aware, our bank (Bank of America) has a $45 flat fee for international transfers. We do not pay via Wise, Payoneer, or Skrill. We do not use POs. Instead just include the video file names as line items on your invoice.

Please also let us know how many days you would need to complete this project once we send you the materials.
