We are looking for a French to English (US) translator with experience in the IT field for a series of projects in 2024.
This project is a localization of video scripts and reading materials for educational courses on the following topics:
– Manage your project using the V-cycle methodology
– Web development
– Product ownership
– Cybersecurity
– Active Directory and Windows domains
Scope of work: 1M words for 2024 distributed between different specialists with relevant backgrounds
Timelines: the first project starts on January 24th
Source language: French
Target language: US English
You will work with an editor.
Requirements:
– Native US English speakers with a master’s degree or certifications in translation;
– 5+ years of intensive experience in IT translation;
– 2+ years of IT experience in roles like project manager, product manager, code developer, security specialist, system administrator or similar;
– Experience in CAT tools such as MemoQ/Trados.
Selection process:
– Shortlisted candidates will have a short technical interview and a paid test task.
