Simultaneous/ Consecutive Intepreting assignment, March/April, Remote, Legal

We have been asked by our client to provide a Swahili interpreter for an assignment at some point in March/April. The assignment will take place at 9am (GMT) and is expected to last a full day. The assignment will be held remotely, via Zoom.

The subject matter is a legal hearing for anti-doping matter based in the sports industry. There is expected to be no technical language relating to the sport itself, but some medical/ pharmaceutical knowledge may be required for any such discussion.

The client is yet to decide whether to use simultaneous or consecutive interpreters. If simultaneous, two interpreters will be assigned and the client is experienced and familiar with the set- up of simultaneous interpreting remotely.

We understand without a date it is impossible to select an interpreter, but our client has asked us to put pricing together and we would like to establish a relationship with a Swahili interpreter in advance of the hearing so we can be ready to assign when the client confirms the date.

Further information will be given to selected interested candidates before confirmation and upon signing of an NDA.

Please reply with rates for both full day and hourly.

No agencies at this time, only offers made through the ProZ website will be considered.

Thank you for your interest.
