Critique my book

Hello
I am a struggling author looking to get my novel taken up a literary agent.
I was wondering if you could reading and critiquing the first few pages of my novel.
If you could read the first 50 pages it will be great. Please let me know how much you would charge. I have been getting “It’s good story as a film but not as a book” kind of rejections from agents and struggling to come up with what to do with it.
It is a story of a British detective, caring for his sick wife, who discovers that his son is accused of kidnapping the granddaughter of a violent Yakuza syndicate’s boss and wanted by the Japanese police. He travels to Japan and finds himself embroiled in the war between Yakuza clans. If you imagine Liam Neeson from ‘Taken’ going up against Yakuza to save his son, you’d get the gist of it.
