Role Overview
Our Player Support and Community Management department supports over 1,000 game developers globally. We are currently seeking a motivated and community-driven Community Manager / Player Support Agent to join our growing international team.
In this role, you will help build, engage, and manage online game communities while acting as a key point of communication between players, internal teams, and clients.
Responsibilities
Plan and publish social media posts and actively engage with players on official social channels
Create or assist with visual assets and copywriting for social media content
Respond to live game issues and publish appropriate announcements on forums and social platforms
Collaborate closely with Game Masters, Customer Support, and Community Managers to gather player feedback and suggestions
Monitor and report on live-service issues and overall player sentiment
Track live-streaming platforms and social channels; collaborate with partner influencers
Monitor Discord servers and support community moderators
Act as an internal escalation point for agents
Serve as a main point of contact for the client
Required Skills & Qualifications
Fluency in English and Japanese
Experience in the video game industry (community management, player support, QA, or related roles)
Experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, X/Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
Prior interaction with gaming communities (forums, Discord, or social media groups)
Experience with social content creation, publishing calendars, asset creation, copywriting, reporting, and analytics
Strong customer service mindset and excellent interpersonal communication skills
Strong writing skills for announcements, forum posts, and notices
Ability to act quickly and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Creative, curious, and eager to learn
Professional demeanor with strong time-management and organizational skills
Desired (Nice-to-Have) Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent professional experience
Experience as a content creator, cosplayer, or live streamer within the gaming community
Graphic design or video editing/production skills
Previous management or team leadership experience
