[PROJECT OVERVIEW]

SAGA Translations is seeking experienced linguists to produce US ENGLISH subtitles (.srt) for raw, pre-edit footage in HUNGARIAN for a forthcoming documentary. The project will focus on the current geopolitical climate in Europe, with a specific emphasis on HUNGARY’S internal and international relations.
Subtitlers must have 2+ years of experience delivering time-synced .srts (enUS subtitles for huHU).
The time-synced ENGLISH subtitles (.srt) created by the subtitlers will be essential for the producers and editors as they review, select, and structure the scenes for the final cut.
[TYPE OF FOOTAGE EXPECTED]
In addition to traditional sit-down interviews, we are expecting vox-pop interviews and vérité-style footage from active protest sites and political speeches. Candidates must be proficient at creating subtitles that capture the nuances of unscripted, informal dialogue and must be comfortable working with raw, ambient-heavy recordings.
