[ABOUT THE PROJECT]

We’re hiring individual freelance audiovisual Farsi translators to create American English subtitles (.srt) from Farsi raw footage. Assignments will range from 5–35 minutes of raw video per day through at least mid-January.
The assigned material will include a mix of long-form interviews, short vox pops with Iranian citizens, and vérité scenes featured in special reports on current developments (protests, internet blackouts) in Iran.
We are hiring translators with a range of availability. Daily availability is not required. Our production team will work with several translators and assign projects based on each individual’s schedule.
Footage will be immediately available for assignment.
Invoices will be paid net 30 via bank transfer.
