Are you passionate about gaming and experienced in translation? TransPerfect Gaming is looking for freelance KOREAN to ENGLISH gaming translators to collaborate on exciting localization projects. You’ll work on everything from indie games to AAA titles, ensuring the best gaming experience for ENGLISH players.
🔹 What We’re Looking For:
✅ Native-level proficiency in ENGLISH
✅ Strong command of ENGLISH and KOREAN
✅ Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (KOREAN>ENGLISH)
✅ Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy game translation
✅ Familiar with gaming terminologies
✅ Follow instructions on handling tags and character limits
✅ Skilled in CAT tools (preferably in memoQ)
✅ Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills
✅ Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment
🔹 Minimum Requirements (Must meet ONE of the following):
📌 A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or equivalent with significant translation training)
📌 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree
📌 5+ years of translation experience (no degree required)
📌 A translation certification issued by an appropriate government body
