We are reaching out to check availability for an upcoming Sylheti full verbatim transcription project and are inviting qualified freelancers to express their interest.
🔹 Task Description
This project involves full verbatim transcription, meaning transcribers must capture every detail exactly as spoken in the audio. This includes:
1. All utterances and spoken words
2. Filler words (e.g., um, ah)
3. Disfluencies, repetitions, hesitations
4. Grammatical mistakes exactly as heard
Transcribers will focus only on correcting AI-generated transcription errors when they alter the meaning or context of the speaker’s message.
🔹 Requirements
We are seeking native Sylheti speakers who meet the following criteria:
1. Must be a native speaker of Sylheti
2. Must have been raised and educated in a Sylhet Division of Bangladesh in from an early age
3. Must be able to perform detailed verbatim transcription work
