DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a Montenegro-based native linguist with an educational background to audit the content of its User Experience and Software Engineering Bootcamps. The role involves reviewing course materials to identify cultural sensitivities and ensure that images, examples, and language are appropriate for a Montenegrin audience.
Start: ASAP (within two weeks)
Estimated: 95 hours of work
Language: Montenegrin
Responsibilities:
– Review slide decks, speaker notes, activity prompts, and other documents for the User Experience Bootcamp;
– Review text-based content stored in GitHub repositories for the Software Engineering Bootcamp;
– Identify, report and fix any cultural sensitivities, inappropriate language, or problematic examples;
– Provide high-level proofreading (not deep editing or translation).
Requirements:
– Must be a resident of Montenegro with deep cultural knowledge;
– Native Montenegrin speaker (mandatory);
– Experience in education or IT (preferred);
– 3+ years of experience with editing/proofreading;
– Ability to navigate GitHub repositories (no coding knowledge required, but must be comfortable with file structures);
– Detail-oriented and able to work within tight deadlines.
