Requirements:
1) Minimum 5 years of full-time professional translation experience in the life sciences domain (clinical research, pharmacology, medical devices, patient-facing documents, labeling, legal and marketing materials in a medical context, etc.).
2) Native or near-native proficiency in Setswana, with an excellent command of English.
3) Higher education in life sciences, medicine, pharmacy, or a related field is preferred (Master’s or Bachelor’s degree).
4) Proven experience translating technical and scientific documents, with a deep understanding of medical and pharmaceutical terminology.
5) Familiarity with translation software such as SDL Trados, MemoQ, or similar tools is an advantage.
6) Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality translations within deadlines.
7) Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
