Job Description:
– Proficiency in game localization with a strong understanding of industry-specific terminology and processes.
– Minimum of an associate degree, with a background in translation or related field preferred.
– Responsibilities include but are not limited to translation, proofreading, LQA (Language Quality Assessment), and vendor management.
– Work closely with game developers and the publishing team to ensure high localization quality.
Requirements:
Language Skills: Native proficiency in Malay, with excellent translation skills between English and Malay.
Translation Experience: At least one year of experience in game localization, preferably with LQA experience.
Professional Knowledge: A genuine passion for the gaming industry and an understanding of gaming terminology and culture.
Test Task: Applicants must complete a test task that includes both translation and proofreading to assess skills.
Availability: Availability to work during GMT+8 business hours.
