I am looking for translators for a POTENTIAL project I am bidding on. The client is a manufacturer of plastic toys for children (pets, farm world, wildlife, fantasy) and the catalogue is updated and distributed twice a year. The client needs translation for their product master texts (appr. 4800 words) as well as the translation of the clients’ brand catalogue (appr. 3800 words). This project is planned for January/February 2025. The source documents are available in German as well.
Kindly submit your price per word for translation. Please bear in mind that this is a tender and I would like to submit a competitive bid.

The brand catalogue is published every six months and is one of their most important marketing tools. Children use the brand catalogue to choose their toys. The brand catalogue is not only used in Europe, but also worldwide in several languages and countries. There is a short description of each product.
The master texts are product-related texts that are used for various marketing measures. The texts must be suitable for marketing purposes.
Character limitations apply.
Texts must correctly pick up on brand tonality (see enclosed sample).
Texts must be translated into relevant languages without errors
A maximum of two feedback loops to achieve the desired quality.
Texts should be submitted and managed on a clearly organised online text platform.
For both the brand catalogue and the master texts, texts have to be translated twice a year for around 80 new products.
There are terms in the respective texts that are not translated, such as brand names. A corresponding list is provided for this purpose.
Brand catalogue (translation):
Brand catalogue texts are between 3700 and 3800 words long (total).
Expected processing time: 8 working days
The texts for the brand catalogue have to be proofread in the finished design
For the brand catalogue, the data must be transferred as an IDML file for the design.
Requirement for master texts (copywriting and translation):
Expected quantity of products approximately 80
The client needs one long and one short product description per product, as well as a USP (Unique Selling Proposition) text
Short product description: max. 400 characters
Long product description: Max. 1000 characters
USP texts: Max. 30 words
Expected processing time: 18 working days
The texts for the brand catalogue have to be proofread in the finished design
