I’m looking for German>Croatian and German>Swedish translators who are interested in a regular cooperation. My team and I have weekly requests for translating user manuals for appliances, power tools, and other devices. Such examples are manuals for:
– Air fryers and waffle irons;
– Angle grinders and cordless drills; and
– Camping tents and garden lights.
Ideally, the translators I’m looking for must:
1. Be a consistent provider of quality translations;
2. Be familiar with the use of termbases (usage, verification);
3. Be familiar with translation QA tools; and
4. Have a client-oriented approach.
To sum it up, I need a seasoned technical translator with years of experience translating user manuals under their belt. It would also be nice if you work using Trados Studio, which is our main CAT tool.
