Saga Translations is a Brooklyn-based translation service that focuses on the creation of English subtitles for raw footage for international news reporting and documentaries. We have worked with multiple series on Netflix, Hulu, and HBO.
We are currently hiring linguists who can create English subtitles (.srt format) for up to 15-30 minutes of raw footage per working day – We will be flexible to work with linguists with their own schedules. The project is expected to go through January for a report on the political aftermath of the December 3rd declaration of martial law by President Yoon.
The assigned footage will be raw and unedited and will include longer interviews, short interviews with citizens and government officials, and longer vérité scenes.
Invoices will be paid net 30 via bank transfer.
