We are seeking experienced German (Germany) editor to assist in the localization of our website content. This project is crucial for our upcoming launch in new territories, and we aim to ensure that all localized content resonates authentically with the target audience.
How We Work:
– The editor will review the translated content, making necessary revisions using track changes to ensure clarity, accuracy, and cultural relevance. We are looking for a text that sounds natural in German rather than word by word translation. You will be provided the final files to check the quality before final confirmation of the project. The translations are human translation and not machine translation.
– Editors are encouraged to add comments explaining any preferential changes or suggestions, especially those affecting tone or message delivery.
– The edited content will be returned to the translator for review. Any changes not accepted by the translator should be accompanied by an explanatory comment to ensure mutual understanding and consistency.
Project Scope:
– The initial project involves a 6,500-word text related to the travel industry. This will be followed by editing the website’s privacy policy and additional taglines (approximately 2,200 words).
Requirements:
– The editors should have demonstrable experience in marketing and the travel industry, with a strong understanding of brand localization.
