Women in Neighborhoods is a not-for-profit group that brings women together through community engagement, with a focus on sharing and celebrating food from diverse cultures. We are looking for a publishing house or individual to compile, edit, design, and print a recipe book for our project.

Project Overview:
The book will feature recipes and stories from women in the community, highlighting the cultural significance of food in fostering connections. The chosen individual or team will handle the entire production process, from content compilation to printing 200 copies of the book.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compilation: Collect and organize recipes and stories from the community.
• Editing: Proofread and edit the recipes and accompanying text for clarity, consistency, and style.
• Design: Create an appealing layout and design for the recipe book, ensuring it reflects the theme of community and inclusivity.
• Printing: Manage the printing of 200 high-quality copies of the book, ensuring it meets professional standards.

Deliverables:

• A beautifully designed, fully edited recipe book ready for printing.
• 200 printed copies delivered by the agreed deadline.

Requirements:

• Experience in publishing, editing, and designing books (preferably cookbooks or community-focused projects).
• A strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Ability to work within a budget of £1,700, covering all services from compilation to printing.
• Understanding of not-for-profit projects and a passion for community initiatives is a plus.
