Hi,
this is Agata Joszko from translation agency Translation Street. We are looking for English > Lithuanian, Latvian, Serbian, Bulgarian, Greek, German, Romanian translators and editors (target language native) to work on short and long-term (years long continuous daily work) e-commerce platform localisation projects that may start in the upcoming year.
Subject: mostly business, marketing and legal documents such as Privacy Policy, service terms and conditions etc.
Shorter projects may entail texts of various length and characteristics, from marketing, business, financial, to legal texts.
For the long-term project, tasks would be assigned every day in max. 2000-word daily batches. We communicate as a team with the client directly through a Slack channel. We would hold bi-weekly meetings on Zoom (5-15 minutes) to discuss linguistic issues such as the glossary, consistency, style.
We will be using SmartCat for all projects with this client – strict requirement. We would be working with a glossary and style guide for consistency.
If you are:
• experienced in working with business and legal texts
• IT-flexible (can easily get familiar with and work in different platforms like Slack, SmartCat, Google Sheets)
• communicative and Zoom-friendly
– you are the one we are looking for. We appreciate great attention to detail and extensive research.
The project has no start date yet, we’ve been providing multiple languages for this client for 5 years now and the plan is to expand on further markets in the upcoming year.
If you`d be interested in joining the long-term or only short-term projects for one of the target languages specified, please send us an email to the address: [email protected]. Don`t forget to attach your CV and let us know what is your experience in this field. We also would be interested in knowing what your most friendly rate per word would be for such a job, considering the volume, and whether you can issue invoices.
We’re also interested in your hourly rate for non-standard jobs like research, linguistic consultations and discussions on Slack and Zoom, co-creating the Style Guide for the project etc.
In the email title please put: „E-commerce localisation, long-term cooperation + XX”, where XX=target language.
Ask me any additional questions.
Looking forward to working with you, I’m sending my best regards,
