They will join our team’s efforts to integrate social responsibility and environmental stewardship into our day-to-day operations.Duties & ResponsibilitiesCopy, edit and fact-check materials to ensure consistency and adherence to established grammar, punctuation, spelling rules, and AMA, client, and house style guidelinesProofread materials to verify alignment with approved content, format, and spacing consistency between copy and graphicsStay familiar with FDA, EU, and relevant guidelines and industry standards to ensure documents meet or exceed sponsor and regulatory requirementsIdentify copyrighted material requiring permission for reproduction and process permission requests when necessaryUtilize company project management and communication software effectively.Attend kickoff, status, and other job-related meetingsCollaborate with the team to incorporate client and medical-legal review feedback, addressing required revisionsRequirementsQualificationsUnderstanding of pharmaceutical marketing and proficiency in English grammar, punctuation, and AMA styleStrong knowledge of scientific and medical concepts, vital for maintaining content accuracyEffective communication skills, both written and oralDetail-oriented with strong copyediting and data integrity review abilities.Familiarity with the AMA style guideKnowledge of FDA and EU requirements, ICH regulations, and ISO standards as applicable to regulatory documents is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Adobe AcrobatStrong time management skills with a focus on prioritization and organization to meet deadlinesEducation & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in English, Life Sciences, or Clinical Sciences 7+ years of professional copyediting experience, with a proven track record of maintaining content quality and adherence to regulatory standardsPhysical RequirementsThis remote role demands extended periods of sitting, frequent computer use, and the ability to participate in virtual meetings, requiring clear speech and hearing.
