Description:
We are looking for a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a Human Resources Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing potential candidates for various positions within our company. Your role will involve advertising job openings, managing job postings, and coordinating interviews with candidates. You will also be responsible for conducting background checks, verifying references, and assisting in the onboarding process for new hires.
Responsibilities:
Source and attract candidates by posting advertisements on various platforms and social media sites.
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates.
Conduct phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, qualifications, and experience.
Conduct background checks, including reference checks and criminal record checks.
Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, including creating employee files and processing paperwork.
Maintain and update employee records, including vacation and sick leave, benefits, and payroll information.
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Handle employee relations issues, such as resolving conflicts and addressing complaints.
Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong experience in sourcing, screening, and interviewing candidates.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Experience with HRIS systems and software.
