We are seeking a skilled Danish linguist to support us in producing high-quality transcripts and certified translations for a recent legal hearing. The project involves working with Danish audio recordings and machine-generated Danish transcripts to ensure accuracy, followed by machine translation post-editing (MTPE) for certified English translations.
Project Details:
Audio Length: 9 hours of Danish audio from a recent hearing
Task 1: Review and scope the AI-generated high-confidence Danish transcripts against the original audio. The goal is to ensure that the transcripts accurately capture the spoken content in the hearing.
Task 2: Conduct MTPE on the machine-translated English version of the transcripts, refining them to meet certification standards.
Requirements:
Fluency in Danish and English: Native or near-native proficiency.
Experience in Legal Transcription/Translation: Prior experience with legal audio transcription, legal document review, or certified translation is preferred.
MTPE Experience: Familiarity with machine translation post-editing, particularly in a legal context.
Attention to Detail: Ability to carefully review audio-to-text alignment and accuracy, ensuring the final output meets certification standards.
