We are looking for potential Language Leads for one of our busiest clients.
We require a trustworthy linguist specialised in their content that can take ownership of the client’s reference material and assessing the quality of translations delivered by the client’s team of vendors.
It will be paid per hour on a monthly basis. We would agree on the number of hours needed in advance. Hours may vary per month and per language but we estimate between 2h per week to 5h per week.
Candidates will go through an interview with Ultimate Languages and a client representative.
Additionally, candidates will need to pass tests and provide proof of education and references.
Description of tasks:
Bilingual revision, monolingual review.
Evaluation of the quality of content.
Advice and support on linguistic related decisions.
Structured feedback to team of approved linguists.
Regular quality meetings and reports.
Update of reference materials (style guide, glossary).
Skills required:
Located in-country.
Communication.
Attention to detail.
Knowledge of the industry, translation cycle and company processes.
Linguistic and client specific research.
