Video Data Scouting – finding conversational videos from YouTube and other platforms

Job Description

1. Identify and collect conversational videos from specified online platforms (like YouTube) featuring 2 or more native Korean speakers.
2. Verify each video adheres to the provided guidelines.
3. Upload video URLs to our web portal, along with all required information for each video.

Data collected in this project will undergo further analysis and be utilized by university researchers in linguistics and language technologies, advancing applications such as AI translators and interpreters.

Requirements

(1) No prior experience is required, though familiarity with YouTube and other video platforms would help you excel at this position
(2) You have a laptop and fast internet connection to complete the task remotely
(3) You can start ASAP
(4) You can continue working with us until November 30th, 2024
(5) You can accept payment through Direct Deposit(Residents in U.S), or PayPal(Outside U.S)

Work Hours
• 15 hours/week or more.
• You can set your own schedule and work around your school/work/house chores etc.

Onboarding procedure:
→Interview (introduction of the project, task and Q&As from both sides)
→Training (about 30 minutes)
→Test (submit 10 videos)
→Contract will be signed upon passing the test
→ Start working

*Regardless of the result of the evaluation test, anyone who finishes the training and the test will earn USD15.00.

Payment

1. Payment is based on the number of qualified videos you successfully identify (no hourly rate).
2. US-based workers: USD 1.00 per video (US work authorization required, payment via Direct Deposit to US bank accounts).
3. Non-US-based workers: USD 0.75 per video (payment via PayPal).

Based on our historical data of the same project, you can expect to find 15 to 20 videos per hour.
