The Video Editor will be responsible for formatting, re-coloring and editing paid assets specifically for video and help support social when needed.RESPONSIBILITIES:Manage post-production editing of videos for marketing use. Post-produce videos using industry-standard software and tools including color grading, audio, and special effects.Edit videos, including rough drafts and fine cuts, ensuring high-quality output while using our organization structures.Expertise working with mixed media for Instagram Reels and Stories (stills, design, video) while utilizing standard industry software and practicesAbility to conceptualize and develop graphic designs from text or verbal descriptionExperience with Adobe Creative SuiteExperience shooting on cinema cameras and other on-set equipment is a plusExperience with photography and light retouching is a plusREQUIREMENTS:2-3+ years of content experience in an ad/brand/social agency settingMust be in office 2-3 days per weekDemonstrated history of editing and enhancing videos through visual effects, transitions, and graphics. Portfolio demonstrating a strong understanding of design principles, visual design, layout, and typographyProficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or CapcutMust have a portfolio with relevant work examplesHas a collaborative spirit and strong storytelling skillsAlways pays attention to detail and project deadlinesAbility to adapt and manage multiple projects, shoots, and priorities$30.00-50.00 p/h (This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this NYC – based position.
