Corporate brochure about international trade, 4,000 words, editing

We are looking for a translator with a solid background in legal translations to revise (edit) a Chinese to English translation. The content consists of about 4,000 words for a corporate brochure dealing with the topic of international trade. It’s targeted towards a business audience, so it is not overly technical, but a good grasp of the legal terms and concepts is essential, in addition to an engaging writing style.

So in short, we are looking for a expert legal translator who is also a good writer.

The translation was performed by some of our regular translators who have a track record of high quality work, but the client is not quite happy and has provided some edits of their own, which should be used as a guidance. Also, the client would like to have a quick Zoom or phone call with the translator before the work starts, so you should be open to that if you apply. The client is based on the US East coast.

Ideally, the work should be completed in Memsource, but there’s some degree of flexibility if you prefer to work with a different tool.

If you are interested, please email us your resume as well as your rate per hour (we will also pay your hourly rate for the time you spend on the call with the client).
